Working on so many craft works for so many years, suddenly this word “handicraft” came across my mind. What is the meaning of handicraft. In general knowledge, handicraft is a type of skill where useful devices are made by hands or simple tools. Handicrafts involve the creation of a wide range of objects, including clothing, religious symbols and jewelry etc.
Doing handicraft is not a matter of hobbies, but creating useful and creative work for people using different media and traditional skills. Making handicraft is not only to have the finished product, it can train a person to be more patient.
To pick up handicraft to be a hobby, first thing you have to be a patient person. Handicraft takes time to get your final product, therefore if the the person is not patient enough, you will not get the good and finished product.
There is not age limit, there is no sex difference, anyone can make handicraft.

Many crafters use natural materials while others prefer modern, non-traditional materials, and even upcycle industrial materials. Seen as developing the skills and creative interests of students, handicrafts are often integrated into educational systems, both formally and informally.

“Ideally, advertising aims at the goal of a programmed
harmony among all human impulses and aspirations and endeavors.
Using handicraft methods, it stretches out toward the
ultimate electronic goal of a collective consciousness.”

– Marshall McLuhan
