Brooch Monkey

Category : Felt

Few days back, I wrote about making brooches with felt material.

This brooch monkey is one that I have made some months back.

Most of the parts are hand-sewn using blanket stitch except the slice of water melon, the palms and the feet are glued on.

I find that this brooch is suitable for kids to put on their bags and clothings.

Felt Brooch

Category : Felt

Felt BroochFelt is one of my favourite craft material. Felt is a non-woven cloth that is produced by matting, condensing and pressing woollen fibres. The colors are usually bright, and suitable for making little brooches. I love using it to make small brooches. Once using the felt to made small baby booties, but I found that the texture is too rough for babies’ skin.

I will soon start with my felt animal brooches. Stay tuned.
